Each year in mid October, the church sells pumpkins, hay and mums on its parking lot. Around 350 members volunteer their services. Over 800 children from day cares, preschools and K-5's are invited to participate in hay rides, hay maze, pumpkin games, and photo shots. Over 1000 pumpkins are unloaded the day before the sale. Each child receives a free mini pumpkin along with a "I visited the Park Plaza Church of Christ Pumpkin Patch" sticker. Literature about the church's activities are given to each adult. This ministry's purpose is to:
Involve members of the church to get to know each other better
Make people who are not members aware of the church as they drive by or buy pumpkins or have their children attend
Give Key Elementary School (Our Partner in Education) all the proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch.
