Campus and Careers Ministry

THIRST is a 20-somethings (ages 18-29) worship experience. You can expect passionate praise as well as relevant Biblical teaching each week. You will find yourself feeling loved and accepted, as well as challenged to live a courageous life for Jesus. THIRST takes place every Monday night in the Park Plaza Ministry Center, 4930 S. Sheridan at 8 pm.
This ministry is geared to meet the needs of college and young professional people between the ages of 18 and 30.

Mission Statement: To share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost college age and young professionals of Tulsa. To encourage, teach, and equip the members of the ministry so that they can be and do all that Christ has commanded. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
Vision: This ministry will be a home away from home for Christian students who have left their home congregations to come to Tulsa. It will be a new and exciting church home for church members in this age group and young professionals new to the Tulsa area. This will be a group with a vision for reaching the lost and serving the body of Christ with their talents and gifts. It will be a group with a contagious spirit of Christ that people want to be around and want to be a part of. It will be a place where members are challenged by the minister and one another to be living images of their Lord and Savior. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 “Therefore, let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity…” Hebrews 6:1
